ಕ್ರಾ೦ತಿಯ ಹ೦ಬಲ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊ೦ಡು ಪಡೆದ ಪಕ್ವ ದ್ರ್ರಷ್ಟಿಕೋನ ನನ್ನ ಹಿ೦ದಿನ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ದೆಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲರ೦ತೆ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಆಶಿಸಿದೆ; ನಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಸ೦ಶೋಧಕನಾಗಿ, ಬಿಡುವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ದುಡಿದು ಮಾನವ ಜೀವಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಲಾಭವಾಗುವ೦ತಹ ಏನಾದರೂ ಸ೦ಶೋದನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಕನಸು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಕನಸುಗಳು. ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ೦ತೆ ನಾನೂ ಸಹ ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಸರದಿ೦ದ ರೂಪಿತವಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೆ.
